Samedis.care Update
With the October update, we are introducing numerous new functions and improvements that will make your day-to-day work in medical technology even more efficient. From more flexible reports to smart contact and training processes - you can find an overview of all the new features here.
All new functions will be available from 30 October 2025.
🚀 New Features
Our October release brings a whole host of convenience and new possibilities to your everyday work: from optimized inventory management and faster access to maintenance information to improved reports and user interfaces. Here is an overview of the most important new features for you!
👩🏫 Check trainer qualifications
Reference: #2111
When selecting trainers, the system now automatically checks whether the selected person has the appropriate qualification for the device. If you select more than one device type and the instructor does not have the qualification for all device types, you will be shown directly which types the requirement is missing for. This ensures that the documentation is always correct.
🧾 “Not assigned” status in the matrix report
Reference: #2115
The matrix report now also shows when employees are not assigned to a device. This allows you to see at a glance where training assignments are missing – including Excel export.
This occurs when an employee selects a device type in the evaluation that is not assigned to any training group.
This means that it is all the more important for the SOLL that employees and device types are correctly assigned to training groups.
🧩 Device and employee filters for training matrix
Reference: #2114
You open the Matrix Overview and want to select all training groups that contain a specific device type in order to determine the training status for these groups? You can now filter by inventory types in the group selection dialog to achieve exactly that.
🔧 Next maintenance directly on the landing page
Reference: #1980
After scanning the QR code, you can now see when the next inspection is due directly on the device landing page. As a technician, you can even start the next maintenance directly from there—without having to go through the task list.
🧠 Inventory recording by camera
Reference: #1937
When adding inventory items to the inventory, it is now possible to use the camera to read the data matrix code on the type plate and thus automatically select the device type using the recognized UDI-DI number. In addition, the serial number is automatically entered in the corresponding field. This speeds up inventorying and reduces input errors.
📋 Signature and photo function for maintenance tasks
Reference: #2055
From now on, you can sign maintenance or repair reports directly in the log—and customers can do so too. You can also add photos, which are automatically integrated into the PDF log.
📊 Profit center and department assignment for employees
Reference: #2047
For large organizations: Employees can now be directly linked to profit centers and departments. Profit centers (aka economic units) can be used for filtering in the overviews and facilitate organizational management.
🪪 AAS integration for models & inventories
Reference: #2088
First proof of concept: Device models will be represented as digital twins (AAS – Asset Administration Shell) in the future. This creates standardized references between inventories and models – the basis for future regulatory interfaces.
Samedis.care is committed to standardizing the exchange of data between the systems of manufacturers, authorities, and institutions in terms of content and technology.
We hope you enjoy testing it and look forward to your feedback!
