June Update

Samedis.care Update

With the June update, we are introducing numerous new functions and improvements that will make your day-to-day work in medical technology even more efficient. From more flexible reports to smart contact and training processes - you can find an overview of all the new features here.

All new functions will be available from 11 June 2025.

🚀 New Features

We have implemented detailed improvements for training management and optimizations for your inventory tasks (devices) in this release.

🧑‍🏫 Add temporary staff

Reference: #1887

A training is to be documented, but the employee is not yet in the selection? You can now directly enter personnel who are not in your existing list - e.g. external employees or employees who have not yet been added to the administration by the HR department. Don't worry, these newly created employees will be marked for checking and later merged if duplicates are created by the HR department update or added to the list after a check. Trainings or group assignments that have already been documented are of course retained in both cases.

🔁 Axis exchange in matrix reports and extended legend

Reference: #1862

Switch flexibly between user and device view in the matrix overviews. This helps you to analyze models and users more easily.

A new legend explains the keys in the matrix - for greater clarity and faster classification.

This allows you to select either the employee or now also device types for new trainings.

📊 Adjust application risk for device types

Reference: #1675

The catalog provides all operators with a usage risk assessment for each device model, indicating how the device should be introduced. Since the operator is responsible for the training process, they must also be able to decide how they assess the application risk. Risk managers can now evaluate and define the usage risk at the device type level. Changes have an immediate impact on all reports and related areas.

📥 New personnel import via Excel

Reference: #1980

We have revised the personal import. Not only is it now much faster, but we have also made it possible for you to simply omit the columns that you do not fill. This is particularly important if you maintain e-mail addresses manually, for example, but don't want the import to overwrite them. As we can now also assign departments for employees, the import can also import these (and positions). The new import template directly provides all further detailed instructions.

🧩 Profitcenter

Reference: #1831

In larger facilities, it is often necessary to combine departments into a single profitcenter. It is now possible to activate this function centrally in the institution and then create it, allowing you to link departments and use the economic units as superordinate filters.

🔍 Open devices directly from tasks

Reference: #1960

From a task, you can now not only display detailed information on the device type as before, but also open the associated inventory directly in the dialog and view all details.

🔧 New device status: "Decommissioned"

Reference: #1956

In addition to Active and Out of order, there is now Decommissioned for devices that are temporarily out of service. The status is logged and visible; decommissioned devices do not appear in the Inventory and Test report reports.

We hope you enjoy testing it and look forward to your feedback!
